Here's what we need:
The Senior Inbound Marketing Strategist role spans marketing strategy, HubSpot operations, team leadership, and client relationship management. This is an inherently creative and collaborative position. As the Strategy Lead for key client relationships, you lead and own the strategic vision for your clients’ inbound marketing strategies – from coming up with big ideas and creative concepts, to overseeing the flawless execution of those ideas and, ultimately, tracking, measuring, and analyzing the performance of every client-facing initiative.
You are the primary “thinker” on your client accounts, collaborating closely with an Account Lead who is the primary “doer”. This means you collaborate closely with the Account Lead and other supporting players on your client teams to ensure the strategies you develop are aligned with client goals and objectives and deliver the right message, to the right audience, via the right channel, at the right time. You also help translate these marketing strategies into clear creative briefs and action plans.
From there, you provide project management guidance and accountability to your client teams to ensure the plans are smoothly executed and anticipated results are generated. Throughout the execution process, you look for inefficiencies, impediments, and challenges, and you suggest ways to overcome them. You act as a safeguard for projects that may be moving in a direction that does not serve the clients’ goals or align with the vision and values of Clariant Creative.
It’s worth noting that you may, on occasion, be asked to provide more “boots on the ground” support, which may include monitoring and management of your clients’ HubSpot portals, editorial calendar development, keyword research, website and content auditing, competitive analysis, and development of reports and dashboards. Typically, though, this is reserved for more complex clients or large projects where your experience is needed and your skills can truly shine.
Last but not least, given the seniority of your role, you have a unique opportunity to serve as a peer mentor for the agency – providing coaching and guidance as needed and assisting the executive team with training and talent development to help ensure all Clariant Creative team members are set up for maximum success. You play a key role in maintaining our standard operating procedures and quality of work, manifesting our agency vision and values, enhancing our outstanding client relationships, and achieving our agency profitability and financial goals. Additionally, you and the Director of Client Services will establish specific, personalized performance metrics for you that are aligned with your individual development plan (IDP).

Job requirements:
- 8+ years of experience driving B2B digital, content, and/or inbound marketing strategies from conception to production, measurement, and optimization.
- 4+ years of hands-on HubSpot Professional and/or Enterprise experience.
- Experience with common marketing/sales/service technology platforms (such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
- Experience with project management software, ideally including ClickUp.
- Experience with data analysis and ROI reporting.
- Passionate about leveraging inbound marketing strategies to drive brand growth.
- Able to accurately frame a problem, analyze options, and explain how to find an effective solution.
- Independent self-starter yet also a skilled collaborator focused on moving work forward. Agency experience is a plus.
- Meticulous attention to accuracy, detail, deadlines, and budgets.
- Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- U.S. and Canadian citizens living in the U.S. or Canada only.
